Written for Demise
Twelve dancers translating a song into shared rhythm and space.
Written for Demise is the first official music video of the fifth edition of Make Music. Not War, an Erasmus+ peace-building project that brings together young musicians and artists from conflict-affected regions across Europe and the Middle East. Written and recorded by the edition’s pop band, the work unites music and movement, with twelve dancers translating the collective energy of the song into shared rhythm and space.
As Assistant Choreographer, Veronica Lillo led the rehearsal process with the twelve dancers, transmitted and refined the choreographic material, and collaborated on the composition and development of the piece.
