In front of me there is a house, but not just any house.. a house in which Nazi and later Soviet officers lived with their families. This is a fact but it is also true that, being “home,” beyond this large window existed the domestic life of the family: there was a father, a mother and their children, there were their gestures far from atrocities and close to humanity, gestures of care, of affection, of love. Inside this house there was “normality,” and that is what intrigued me most about this place.
